Definition of the word: Humanoid
Humanoid - In possession of at least a few of the most superficial characteristics critical to identifying a being as being a bipedal member of the New Terran homosapien species. The term "humanoid" typically refers to walking upright and being proportioned approximately like a New Terran action figure, though perhaps with a less-than-perfect waist line. Upon closer inspection, the difference between humanoid and truly human tends to be the absence of anatomically correct genitals (which may be offset by ones peculiarly artificial or foreign versions of the same,), the ability to speculate, ponder or double-cross, and a physical presence. Intangible humanoids have been widely discredited and are no longer accepted as human. For an example of this word used in context, read this page.
