Definition of the word: Twaddle

Twaddle - Nonsensical prattle of speech indiscernible from truth except by the lack of provable or factual facts. A form of speech that’s typically as good as “prophesy”, except for the fact that the speaker has fabricated every last fact of it. Often used as an acceptable substitute for reason in political debates.
