Definition of the phrase: One-Point Harness

One-Point Harness - A clever safety devise designed to restrain the wearer for the purpose of maintaining life and health in the event of an unexpected jar in a pickle of a jam. Unlike traditional harnesses which may fasten at as many as three, five or twenty-six points for additional restraint, the one-point harness locks the wearer down by only one point, usually the nape of one's ass. Although the safety benefits of such a harness are severely limited, and there is in fact no known case of the harness doing anything but increasing the likelihood of serious injury or death, it is the cheapest and most convenient of all harnesses to wear, and therefore the most common.
Critics of the one-point harness have raised many important points in regard to the validity of such a product, but no question has been more examined or debated than that of where the nape of one's ass is located, assuming there actually is one.
