Noxious Confetti - A colorful, decorative strafe of shredded, lightweight paper. Sometimes it may be manufactured in a method consistent with rampant off-gassing toxic fumes, but more often is made with toxic pulp dyes. The benefit of the latter method is that the soldiers administering the poison may first share a party of absolutely zero consequence with the residents of the soon-to-die habitat, only to safely depart while the deadly pigments dissolve and destroy all forms of life.

Noxious confetti has also been used extensively on allied and friendly planets in place of traditional confetti merely due to convenience, since most warships carry noxious confetti, but none ever carry the innocuous variety.
