Definition of the word: Non-Carcinogenic

Non-Carcinogenic - In simple terms, an element, compound or synthetic that does not cause cancer. In more complicated terms, an element, compound or synthetic that has been deemed not to cause cancer by a governmental agency, corporation or pseudo-media outlet as contracted at tremendous expense by one or both of the two together.
Non-carcinogens include noble elements by default. Naturally occurring compounds are close behind. And thanks to an abundance of spin sufficient to turn a pulsar, so too are heavy metals, minerals such as the life instilling asbestos, Californium, Einsteinium and any dosage of cosmic radiation, but only if they are endured while mining for exotic substances on a celestial body devoid of a naturally protective atmosphere.
