Definition of the phrase: Lung Hawky

Lung Hawky - Adjective used to describe the fruits of a healthy lung. Often greenish, brownish or orangish in hue, a rich, thick, often lumpy expression of one's own health. In modern society, a good lung-hawky expectoration is a sign to potential mates that you have a solid constitution and would make a good mate. As a noun, "lung-hawkings" spat here and there about the sidewalk or on the floor of a home can act as an indication that, no matter how inhospitable the place may be, you are willing and able to endure it.
