Definition of the word: Garish

Garish - A degree of ostentatiousness best described as humble or commonplace, assuming you’re a king or other planetary ruler. It is also used to describe a degree of décor somewhere between gaudy and kitschy, but always in perfectly good taste, but again, only if you are the emperor or autocrat in possession of far more resource than taste.
