Definition of the word: Earpiece

Earpiece - A popular device modeled in retrofabulous fashion after 21st century "blue tooth" design, in large part because most of such devices include a sharp, blue tooth that punctures through the skull to interface directly with the assorted chips inside the skull. While a traditional earpiece only conveys monographic sound to the wearer, this device can convey images, smells, psychological signatures and traumatic themes from the transmitter's childhood with equal ease and effectiveness. In the early days of this device hackers ran rampant, effectively vandalizing the brains of those foolish enough to wear it during its first fifty roll-out years. Today instances of earpiece hacking and earpiece-conveyed viruses are fewer than one in five, so the damages are generally considered as acceptable by the manufacturers and the politicians who have accepted campaign contributions from them.
